ENGAGE. DEFEND. PERSIST.

Welcome to Battle Rations; a brotherhood created to equip Catholic men with the sustenance needed to engage the culture around us, defend our Church and those we love, and persist in battle.

My name is Marco Velasquez. I’m a husband, a father, and a fellow brother in battle.

After having experienced multiple, annual, diocesan-sponsored men’s conferences where I was blessed to hear from the likes of Dr. Peter Kreeft, Hector Molina, Patrick Madrid, Fr. John Riccardo, and Fr. Sean Kilcawley, I left my most recent experience wondering:

    • While an annual experience is a great blessing, isn’t there a way to continue being fed throughout the year with the experiences and real-life strategies of influential Catholic men of virtue?
    • Why not identify opportunities to share the stories, thoughts, and practical experiences that so many influential Catholic men can offer fellow brothers in battle?

My heart was moved to take action and commit to identifying a way for my experiences to be shared by fellow brothers.

My prayer brothers is that you would commit to not only equipping yourself with the sustenance you need to fight the good fight and resist the enemy but that you put what you’ve learned into action.

It’s time to engage. It’s time to defend. It’s time to persist.
